Britta Wolfert

Born and raised in harbour town Hamburg Germany with poetry and music in heart & blood, singer songwriter Britta Wolfert grew up listening and singing along to Ella and Astrudo, Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez on Sunday morning radio. After moving to Canada, songs written in time ripened like fruit and in 2013 her first, long awaited  album Moonstone was released. At the 2015 NOMFA Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards in Sudbury on May 30th, Producer Rusty McCarthy accepted the ‘Best Engineer Award’ for his Moonstone work.
