THE MUSIC

Festval Go-ers can expect to hear a wide variety of local, regional and touring acts this year! Ranging from the Blues to Cabaret, Funk, Traditional and Roots, to Country, Rock and even a dash of R&B.  In homage to the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock this summer, the WMF will also feature special tribute performances of Beatles 69, The Woodstock Show, and the legendary Pearl; Janis Joplin!

THE VENUES

Our 2 main stages are located inside the historic Lakeview Hotel in Woody’s Pub, and at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 429, each a short walk apart on Broadway Avenue in downtown Wawa. Our 3rd stage is an open air venue located at Lion’s Beach Pavilion, over looking scenic Wawa Lake and just across the street from the Lakeview Hotel.  ** YOU MUST BE 19+ TO ATTEND LICENSED EVENING EVENTS**

FESTIVAL PASSES

This year, you can purchase your weekend or day pass at each of these venues during the scheduled times- doors will open at each stage at (insert time here) prior to performances! You will receive a disposable wrist pass to wear for the weekend to present at each venue, or just the day you wish to attend!  Weekend Pass- $25, Day Pass $15

THE SCHEDULE

WMF Weekend Schedule will be posted on our Facebook page and Website, and a poster will be up at each venue door to refer to. For your convenience, it will also appear in our keepsake souvenir booklets, and available at venues for just $1!

STREET FAIR

This is a FREE community event, so passes are not needed to attend ! This day will feature local musicians and festival artists alike, performing at the Lion’s Beach terrace, as well as a vendors and artisans market, BBQ, children’s activities, art and dance workshops, and a chance to paddle the Voyageur Canoe or a Stand Up Paddleboard  lesson!  What to bring: cash for shopping the market and BBQ, or to attend a workshop, a lawn chair/ blanket to sit and enjoy the music, and sunscreen.  IN CASE OF HEAVY RAIN, ALL ACTIVITIES, MUSIC AND WORKSHOPS WILL MOVE INDOORS TO THE MMCC ARENA ICE SURFACE, LOCATED AT 3 CHRIS SIMON DRIVE.
